Entrance Tests for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme - Katedralskolan

Students who are interested in joining the IB Diploma Programme must attend the Entrance Tests which take place on Tuesday the 11th of March, 2025 (week 11). Admission to the programme is dependent on the successful completion of the tests.

Entrance Test in English and Mathematics

There are two tests, English and Mathematics - which are available in Swedish or English language. Each is around 2 hours long. A good result in English is of course important. We expect our students to be able to read and write English with fluency. Mathematical skills are also assessed and we base the content of our test on the Swedish year 9 Maths syllabus, including, but not limited to, the four operations, percentages, fractions, algebra and general problem-solving.

How to apply

The programe is always popular, so to ensure that you are invited to the Entrance Test you should do one of the following.

Invitations to the Entrance tests are sent out by the school in week 9 to arrive in week 10.
